Altoros Systems Launches Its New Subsidiary Called TeamExpand, September, 2007

A new-born company TeamExpand specializes in developing plug-ins and add-ons to Microsoft Visual Studio Team System and Team Foundation Server products, making them compatible with various non-Microsoft products. TeamExpand provides a wide range of services, such as process assessment, installation, process guidance/ lifecycle adaptation, build automation, tools integration/ migration, reporting, TFS/VSTS customization and training. To leverage investment and accelerate VSTS adoption, TeamExpand offers TFS courseware and delivers instructor-led and remote training to all development team participants, including project managers, architects and designers, developers, QA Testers (unit, integrations and end user testers), administrators and operations managers, trainers, business sponsors. TeamExpand instructors can assist managers with creating and customizing processes. Training programs can be performed on-site, by phone or via online meetings.

TeamExpand is about to present its new products TX Looker and TX Chrono, add-ins to VSTS and TFS. The release of these products is supervised by Sergey Skuratovich, Product Manager, who is responsible for defining products and services roadmaps, and for designing the technical architecture of TeamExpand products. TX Looker is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook and allows users to utilize Team Foundation Server through the familiar Microsoft Outlook Interface: assign tasks, report bugs, report time; link emails and meetings in MS Outlook to Work Items in TFS; add and edit Work Items in TFS from MS Outlook. TX Chrono is a web-based add-on for Visual Studio Team Edition and Team Foundation Server, which allows employees to submit timesheet reports, while providing resource managers with the ability to review and approve timesheets, and run reports on submitted data. TX Looker combined with TX Chrono creates a powerful working environment for efficient work planning, reporting and monitoring.
